The Pisces Divers centre in Simons Town is a true full-service dive centre catering to divers of all experience levels. We strive to make your dive experience with us unforgettable!
The large premises comprises of 200 square metres of shop space which includes a well-stocked retail space, a regulator servicing workshop with quick turn-around times, a large rental equipment section with a very broad range of Scubapro rental gear, separate ladies and gents change rooms and bathrooms and lockers for clothes and personal effects while diving.
We are proud to be a Scubapro Showroom dealer and also stock the following quality brands: Ikelite, Fourth Element, Reef, Suunto and Brightweights.
We have a 90 square metre mezzanine level comprising of a large 20 seater classroom and an instructor briefing area and office.
In our courtyard in front of the shop we have our custom designed 3 metre deep dive training pool which is salt-chlorinated and easy on the skin and eyes.
We have an outside hot water shower for rinsing off the sea water after a dive or pool session. We will wash your dive kit and you can enjoy free wifi over a coffee while your gear dries.
Probably our best feature is our close proximity to Long Beach, Cape Town’s most sheltered open water dive site. We are 50m from the beach, making the first sea dives or refresher dives super convenient.
When it comes to boats, we have two options depending on the excursion and group preference. We have an 8.2m Feral Rigid Inflatable boat rated for 12 divers and two crew. We use the RIB for our inshore dives and training dives.
Our newest boat is a 9.7m Buttcat, which is similarly rated for 12 divers and two crew. We use the Buttcat for Cape Point excursions as well as offshore pelagic birding and shark diving trips. Both boats are powered by Suzuki outboards and have Garmin radio and navigation systems.
