The seal dive is highly recommended (great fun), and the other dives are really beautiful and interesting, all led by excellent DMs (I went with Kyle and Keegan). The highlight, though, was the pelagic shark dive - a day long outing into the open ocean to see some of the sharks you won't find inshore. A lucky break in the windy weather gave us a chance for owner, Mike, to take us out to see blue sharks and a mako. What an awesome experience! If you are looking for a well run, friendly, all-round good dive charter to take you diving in the rich Cape waters, I can highly recommend Pisces Divers in Simon's Town.   So, I didn’t actually get to go on a dive with Pisces because of weather conditions but I’m still giving this shop 5 stars. I contacted the shop to schedule... read more a dive about 2 weeks prior to my trip. Jacqui immediately responded and we discussed different dives for my time in Cape Town. Once I arrived, Jacqui emailed me daily with weather conditions and the status of the sharks. Unfortunately the conditions were not favorable during my trip, but I commend Jacqui for her honesty, customer service and quick responses. My next trip I will definitely book my dive here.

My wife and... read more I booked for 4 dives each for our 1st ever dives since receiving our PADI certification. When my wife had some trouble on her 1st dive they brought her back to the pool to work on some things while a guide (Eddy) stayed out in the water with me.

  The whole team was really nice and did their best to accomodate us also regarding the fact that we had to catch our flight back to Europe the same evening.... read more They packed our lunch for us, which was delicious by the way, and even gave us spoons to take with, since we were in a hurry.
We had a really good time, loved the experience and the team was wonderful.

The only thing which I have to criticise is planning. We were assured we'd be back by the base by 2pm so we wouldn't have to worry about traffic on the way to the airport. We know now that nature doesn't care if you've got a tight schedule. For a few reasons we got back around 3.15 pm and had to rush to the airport. We made it despite hitting traffic. But we think it would be wiser to advise against booking a tour this close to a flight. We only booked because we were assured it wouldn't be a time-issue.

Other than that we really have to thank the team for helping us make sure a bag we forgot in the hurry of getting to the airport got back to us safely.

The whole breefing is understandable and everyone knows what to do. The dive itself - depends on the place. Kelp forest and seals will never get tired. I will definitely go back to Pisces Divers only this time with my own dry suit because the water was cold, but it was nobody's fault. I recommend this place! It was great! …
