The experience with booking and the... read more communication was incredible. The refresher course was great, and everyone ensured our gear was correctly fitted. When we got to seal island, one of our dive masters, Ollie, was incredible and helped me feel comfortable and take my time. He stayed with me on both dives, and I couldn’t have done it without him! He made all the difference in my dive, and if he wasn’t patient, I was ready to get back on the boat. Once I was comfortable enough, I had a blast, and it was stunning. I highly recommend this dive shop, as I probably would not have gone if it wasn’t for the entire Pisces team! Thank you for making my first ocean dive one to remember! The seal dive is highly recommended (great fun), and the other dives are really beautiful and interesting, all led by excellent DMs (I went with Kyle and Keegan). The highlight, though, was the pelagic shark dive - a day long outing into the open ocean to see some of the sharks you won't find inshore. A lucky break in the windy weather gave us a chance for owner, Mike, to take us out to see blue sharks and a mako. What an awesome experience! If you are looking for a well run, friendly, all-round good dive charter to take you diving in the rich Cape waters, I can highly recommend Pisces Divers in Simon's Town.   Mike. the owner is so accommodating. the dive staff is very knowledgeable about the dive sites and very friendly. the shop is immaculate. Everything in it's place. A great selection... read more of dive gear and accessories too. When you walk in. your greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. A great rinse station for your gear with plenty of space to hang your BCD's , regs and wet suits. And. If your diving more than one day. plenty of space to hang your gear in the shop. As a former professional dive instructor with over 28 years in the business. it takes a lot to impress me. Pisces divers have done that and more. I have dived with them over 6 years. And every year. they have improved their product. Their boats are in immaculate condition. Safety first. great skippers. Friendly staff. great selection of gear to buy. the two dives that are a must do. Are the seal and kelp dives. Depth. 7 to15 meters. for you others that work in standard measures. 30 feet. Yes. the water is cool. 13 to 16 cel or 50 degrees to 60 Fahrenheit. Vis is subject to weather conditions. but anywhere from 10 to 5 meters. depending when you come to SA. You could see whales on your ride out. Dolphins and of course. Penguins. Depending up when you come to dive. All in all. A great operation.

We had a really good time, loved the experience and the team was wonderful.

The only thing which I have to criticise is planning. We were assured we'd be back by the base by 2pm so we wouldn't have to worry about traffic on the way to the airport. We know now that nature doesn't care if you've got a tight schedule. For a few reasons we got back around 3.15 pm and had to rush to the airport. We made it despite hitting traffic. But we think it would be wiser to advise against booking a tour this close to a flight. We only booked because we were assured it wouldn't be a time-issue.

Other than that we really have to thank the team for helping us make sure a bag we forgot in the hurry of getting to the airport got back to us safely.
