Why PADI Dry Suit Diver?
If you want to see the spectacular and prolific aquatic life often found in colder water climates you’ll need to stay warm and that means a dry suit. But, you want to be trained in proper techniques and this is where PADI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course comes in. Cape Town is a temperate water location ideal for drysuit diving, particularly if you want to do multiple dives on a single day.
We usually teach this course to students who have purchased their own drysuit and need to learn how to dive in it safely and how to care for it.
Please note: You require your own drysuit for this course and Pisces Divers highly recommends the Fourth Element Argonaut 3.0 Trilaminate Drysuit. We also stock a full range of Fourth Element thermal undergarments for these drysuits and can assist with Biomapping the suit to your body shape for a perfect fit. There are also many items on the suit which can be configured to your preferences (three different boot options, wrist and neck seal options, dry-glove options, p-valves etc)
If you do not have a drysuit, we can try and and source one for you to use on the course but due to limited availability of rental drysuits in Cape Town, we cannot guarantee a size that will match your size and shape. The cost of a drysuit rental is R1650 per day.
