Blue Shark Diving - Photography by Mario Chow -

Pisces Weekly News: 6 April 2017

We have been so lucky with our weather and dive conditions for the last week. There has been some super warm water in the Bay with 18 degrees recorded at the inshore dive spots on Saturday and Sunday, although a bit of surge pushed through on Sunday.

We were out in the deep doing pelagic shark trips on Thursday and Saturday, but we will not be able to get out again until after the next bit of weather has passed. We are expecting gale force SE from tomorrow afternoon onwards and then to top it off, some Southerly swell which will come into the Bay and make life unpleasant for the weekend.

We will plan some launches and a Saturday shore dive should this change, but it might be a weekend for other activities – like cleaning the garage.

We have been busy with our IDC this week and our four candidates have been beavering away in the classroom, pool and today in the sea. They are all looking good so far! Their Instructor Exam is happening on Saturday and Sunday. Good luck guys!!
