Pisces Weekly News: 18 May 2017

It’s been a wonderfully wind-free week so far and the swell forecast is flat, flat, flat! We are going to be launching tomorrow for a couple of dives and then have a full weekend planned, including a pelagic shark trip on Saturday. We are heading to Whittle Rock at 0900 on Saturday, for those keen on getting out to a seldom-dived site.

We are getting ready to head off for five weeks of Sardine Run early next week and I am quite excited to hear of the unusually cool water on the Wild Coast at the moment. We will be sending regular updates of our progress!

GUIDED BOAT DIVES   GUIDED SHORE DIVES   PADI COURSES

We are also hosting a talk by Gideon Liew from Singapore, a GUE instructor who is in Cape Town presenting a GUE course at the moment. Gideon will give us a presentation on GUE (Global Underwater Explorers) as an organisation and tell us a little bit of what it’s all about.

He will also talk about some of his personal diving experiences and some of the technical and cave expeditions he has been part of. Gideon has been a GUE instructor since 2002 and I am sure it will be an insightful evening for those curious about the technical diving world. He will be at Pisces Divers on Saturday 20th May and the talk will be starting at 1730 for 1800. Please come and join us!
