How awesome was it to have a public holiday on a Wednesday to break up the work week? But now, the weekend is fast approaching and we’ve been carefully planning some great boat dives! There is swell and wind coming for the weekend however, we believe that conditions will still be good enough for diving in False Bay. The season for teaching is building up and we’re seeing more students on the boat and getting more divers certified! We love getting divers back into the water to improve their dive skills! Students are always the happiest smiling faces on the boat!
Divers had a blast on Heritage Day! We had boat divers and shore divers galore! The perfect combination: a public holiday and fabulous dive conditions! What a treat to have divers coming in to report how great their dives were whilst having coffees and toasties. Yum! Both Neil and Carel were able to get students into the water and Pisces Divers welcomed two newly certified divers to the wonderful world of scuba diving!!

National Marine Week is approaching from 6 to 12 October! Local naturalist Georgina Jones will be a talk on the many discoveries of marine life and previously unknown interactions made by South African scuba divers! The talk will be held at Pisces Divers at 18h00 on the 7th of October. There is no cost to attend and our café will be open for business. Please RSVP to email@example.com so we can get a good idea of attendees!
One of our Instructors, Carel, will be leading a Pisces Divers group on a grand adventure to Sodwana from 18 October to 25 October. Our divers will be staying at ReefTeach and will get 10 boat dives (includes air and weights), breakfasts and dinners, transport to-and-from the beach and to-and-from the airport and lodging at ReefTeach! MPA permits and airfare just must be organised and Mango is always having deals! The trip is R8900 per diver and we have 2 spots left! Contact us at the shop for more details or Carel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Check in with us very soon for more details on our Maldives trip and next year’s Sardine Run from East London!! The Maldives trip is a week-long from 28 March to 6 April trip upon the liveaboard, MV Virgo. We have 12 divers booked and room for 8 more divers!
