Phew, what a week of winter weather!! In between the storms, we launched on Monday for a big group of Norwegian divers and on Tuesday for some Russians. Nice thing about the Scandinavians and Russians is that this is considered pretty mild weather at home! All of us soft Capies have been shivering in our boots.
It seems that after all the rain we are going to have a clear Sunday and we are planning some launches. We are also hoping to do a couple after the Coastal Clean-up effort at FBYC tomorrow morning. We will go ahead if we have at least six divers keen to head out, so come and join us (and remember you can have a hot shower afterwards at the club!)
Carel had another amazing encounter with a pair of Southern Rights at Long Beach on Wednesday morning – check out the vid he posted on the Pisces Divers FB page!
Even without the Sevengills, Pyramid is a very pretty dive site!

It’s a big day for us today as the first cast of the swimming pool happens in about half an hour. Here is Neil this morning, getting the last few props and supports in place in preparation! It’s been a huge push over the last few days, and the guys have been doing an unbelievable job in the rain, howling wind and even some hail this morning!
Neil in his Happy Place!
