Blue Shark - Harry Stone -

Pisces News: 17 December 2015

It’s almost a month since my last newsletter – and I have not even been away on a trip or anything! We have been training and diving like crazy and getting our new boat out to the deep on a few special days. On one of these trips we had well known underwater photographer Harry Stone join us and he has been sending us a few of his awesome images taken on the trip, one of which is pictured below.

If you have never done a pelagic trip, it’s definitely something to do as a special treat. If you are interested, let me know and we will keep you on our call list for those days when conditions are perfect out there. It’s an early start at 0600 and we are usually back around 1500 in the afternoon. We provide all equipment and lunch if you wanted to give a trip as a gift to a friend. We might squeeze in one more trip before Christmas…

Closer inshore, our skipper Graeme has been busy as well and we have enjoyed a few dives on a new pinnacle he recently discovered. The depth profile is 21m to 35m, so it’s an ideal nitrox dive. The reef is smallish but full of fans, as you can see from Rory Bruin’s photo below. We will be doing Zig Zag’s again at 0900 this Saturday if you would like to join us.

The boys have been extremely busy and have also been doing a lot of Wreck and Deep Speciality courses between all the Openwater and Advanced courses. At this time of the year we don’t publish course start dates as things are so fluid and busy, so just drop us a line if you have any dive training enquiries. You can also email directly.
