Pisces News: 16th January 2015

The weather really has been all over the place this week and we are bracing for a serious SE klap next week! The forecast is for a 17 second period, 4.5m swell on Monday. Fortunately, the spell of NW we had yesterday has really cleaned up the inshore sites and the guys reported excellent viz (in 10 degree water!) at Pyramid this morning.

There was a line of very cruddy water further south, however, so we moved the later launch to Photographer’s Reef.

We are hopeful that the weekend will deliver decent chilly and good viz False Bay conditions and then we will batten down the hatches again!

Other news at Pisces Divers is that we have been busy with the last of the work on the new boat and have taken the new trailer in for galvanising this week. We have been loving our new ride, which is proving more spacious with the extra length and beam as well as a drier ride when it’s choppy. We are also excited that we have a functional online booking system in place and Wendy was ecstatic to announce our first online bookings coming through yesterday. Nice one, Wendy!

Here’s to a great weekend of diving and we look forward to seeing you in the shop for one of Eddie’s famous cappuccinos afterwards!

Don’t we live and work in a beautiful Bay?

Travel:

Our Maldives trip departing in April is now fully booked with the last spot being filled this week.

We still have availability for the Sardine Run in June and we will be publishing the slots we have open in the next week.

We are also planning on taking a group up to the Sodwana Shootout this year – more details to be announced soon!
