NAME: Cloudy marginella (Marginella nebulosa)

SIZE: 50mm.

DISTRIBUTION: Cape Peninsula to East London from 5-75m. Endemic.

DESCRIPTION: A medium-sized snail with a distinct shoulder to the shell. Shell pale but with longitudinal wavy bands of varying colours of brown. Foot translucent with red and white stripes and spots.

NATURAL HISTORY: Feeds on other snails.
