We started with beautiful views... read more of Cape Point and the landscape from the water before jumping in and snorkeling/free diving with a group of energetic and curious seals!! The animals were very playful and friendly - swimming up to us regularly. Our instructors Amber and Lindsay were super thorough, friendly, patient, and made sure we were comfortable from getting our gear set to being in the water. Lindsay was a great underwater photographer as well 🙂

From the moment I called Pisces Divers to the moment we were told on a boat out at sea that we were qualified Padi Divers, we had the most amazing experience. The instructors (Megan was ours) were just so amazing. We didn't feel intimidated or out of place by going on this course. The relaxed, chilled but organised way that the team worked together took any stress away from my wife and I.

The team (mainly Megan) at Pisces have opened our eyes to a new adventure sport that we will do together as a couple for many many years to come.

We highly recommend doing your Padi open water, but more so doing it through a dive centre like we did!

The seal dive is highly recommended (great fun), and the other dives are really beautiful and interesting, all led by excellent DMs (I went with Kyle and Keegan). The highlight, though, was the pelagic shark dive - a day long outing into the open ocean to see some of the sharks you won't find inshore. A lucky break in the windy weather gave us a chance for owner, Mike, to take us out to see blue sharks and a mako. What an awesome experience! If you are looking for a well run, friendly, all-round good dive charter to take you diving in the rich Cape waters, I can highly recommend Pisces Divers in Simon's Town. The experience with booking and the... read more communication was incredible. The refresher course was great, and everyone ensured our gear was correctly fitted. When we got to seal island, one of our dive masters, Ollie, was incredible and helped me feel comfortable and take my time. He stayed with me on both dives, and I couldn’t have done it without him! He made all the difference in my dive, and if he wasn’t patient, I was ready to get back on the boat. Once I was comfortable enough, I had a blast, and it was stunning. I highly recommend this dive shop, as I probably would not have gone if it wasn’t for the entire Pisces team! Thank you for making my first ocean dive one to remember!
